Yes, I have complained about this before. Why does Linkedin only allow 30,000 connections? I’ve tried to figure this out and have contacted Linkedin (to the best of my ability – their customer service is NOT GREAT.)
I finally decided to pay for membership to Linkedin, thinking I’d be able to accept more contacts. Nope. Whether you pay or not, you ONLY get the 30k. I’ve had friends tell me that this is a “humblebrag” as “No one has that many connections on Linkedin.” I disagree. How old are you now, and how long will you be a part of linkedin? Over the years, you’re going to get more connections – right? I’m in a position now where I have to delete to accept new connections. I am clearly one of their best “members” then why stop me from getting more people involved???? Here is Linkedin’s page justifying this:
